Animesh Kuley

Dr. Animesh Kuley is an Assistant Professor at Department of Physics in Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. Having earned his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), he has held positions of Post-Doctoral researcher and Assistant project Scientist in the University of California, Irvine. A theoretical Plasma physicist by training, his research interests and activities are focused theoretical and simulation studies of fusion plasmas. KULEY group aims to develop global toroidal code using X-point (GTC-X) for our Indian domestic fusion program. His research group studies instability, turbulence, and transport in laboratory plasmas, and all research work are aligned closely with the major long-term goals of the present and future tokamak experiments such as ITER.

Dr. Jaya Kumar is a research associate with a Ph.D. from Raman Research Institute, in Soft-Condensed Matter. He has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science. Since October 2019 he has been a member of PTG, working on Gyro-Kinetic Code interfacing and machine-learning applications.
