Welcome !!

Our group is involved in active research in emerging and frontier areas of Soft Condensed Matter and Nanoscale Physics and their Interface using State-of-the-Art facilities both in-house (our own laboratory as well as in the Physics department and the IISc Nanoscience Centre) including atomic force microscope, near-field scanning optical microscope, electron microscopes, small angle x-ray scattering as well as external facilities like the synchrotron radiation sources in the world at Grenoble (ESRF), Chicago (APS), Petra(Desy) and Tsukuba (PHOTON FACTORY) the center for nanomaterials (CNM) at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL).

Indo-US Virtual Centre for Quantum Plasmonics of Hybrid Nano-assemblies has been setup.

First meeting was conducted  at Argonne
National Laboratory, Argonne Illinois, and Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, from July 5 to
July 8, 2016.

Fourteenth International Conference on Surface X-ray and Neutron Scattering (SXNS-14) held in New York on July 2016.
