Twisted bilayers of two-dimensional materials show remarkable dynamical and phononic properties. We study low-frequency and high-frequency modes in twisted bilayers of transition metal dichalogenides to demonstrate a transition from superlubric to pinned phase and ultrasoft acoustic-like modes.
